Diamond Films Canada is a boutique production company with a focus on creating unique, original, intellectual property. We work with larger partners from pitch to production. We are story focused with a desire to create meaningful, original content.
We have access to an extensive back catalogue of 1980s - 2000s hard rock music by Coney Hatch and Carl Dixon, managed by Anthem Entertainment and Universal Music. Diamond Films is based in the snowy Algonquin woods 3 hours drive north of Toronto.

BACKGROUND
Helen Parker is an Australian Canadian film producer. Her life as a reporter, television producer and cinematographer have taken her through 13 countries and extraordinary amount of experiences filming in prisons to palaces, 250 hours in choppers, political stories, aviation stories and in 2017 as a guest of Putin, exclusive access to the former Soviet legendary hockey team of 1972. Since 2018 she's turned her attention to feature films and created Diamond Films Canada, Helen was Consulting Producer on the Rockie Award finalist and Canadian Screen Awards finalist feature film Ice Breaker (2022) Helen's career began at ABC TV national news Australia. She produced two number one lifestyle series for the Nine and Seven Networks and was a Walkley Award judge. Her creations have been optioned and licensed by e-One, Bell, Universal, Prime, Netflix and more.

Carl Dixon remains one of Canada's stellar rock voices. A singer and musician having opened for Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance Tour (27 shows) and then Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind Tour (40 shows) in his breakout band Coney Hatch. He's also a published author "Strange Way To Live" and an inspirational speaker presenting across Canada and the USA. Carl has recorded albums under Anthem ( 42 years with Anthem!), Polygram labels. He is lead singer hard rockers Coney Hatch for 40+ years. Carl played and toured in April Wine and was lead singer of The Guess Who for a total of eight years after Burton Cummings left the band. Carl has written songs for television and feature films including Tornado Hunters, Baywatch, Degrassi, Saddle Club, Dawson's Creek, Guitar Picks, Heaven Can Wait , Jersey Girl and more. Carl's career moved into inspirational speaking following his unlikely survival from a catastrophic car accident in rural Australia. He speaks about resilience and comebacks. Carl has an extensive back catalogue of 80s & 90s rock for use in film and television. We are proud to share samples here. See our music page for more info.
