Christabel H Parker
Christabel (Helen) Parker and Carl Dixon met in 2013 - the beginning of a creative partnership. They specialise in creating screenplays, music for film, television and on-line series.
Christabel H. Parker was born and raised on a desert island in the Antipodes, full of the world's most venomous snakes and spiders, she swam with sharks and crocodiles - and she lived to tell the tale. She worked in Australian television as a broadcast journalist and television producer for eighteen years (She produced two number one series nationally for channels 7 & 9.) For six years she was a roving reporter for Fox Australia (Newscorp) travelling the world on special assignments. A former Walkley Award judge she began her career at the national broadcaster ABCTV news working on The National, Carlton Walsh Report, Tied Test, The Game is Not The Same and Four Corners. After studying journalism part-time at Deakin University she took up the role of television News Chief of Staff at just 24-years old supervising the 5th biggest newsroom in Australia (NBN3 Nine Network.) Christabel studied Law for three years at Sydney University (Barristers Admission Board) and is a graduate of the Film and Television school North Sydney. In her spare time she became a lobbyist for victims of serious crimes, who had few legal rights then. She worked with VOCAL NSW to successfully push for legislative change to protect and support victims of crime. She also did a two year stint as a stand-up comedienne at live venues around Sydney and was featured on Fox-Tel. In 2015 Christabel settled permanently in North America to further her writing ambitions. She has a drama series under consideration with CBC and is described as "an exciting new writer". Her debut novel "Under Pressure", a thriller about the end of the world, is the first in a trilogy. "Under Pressure" is due for release in 2020.

Miraculously Carl still sings and plays as a solo act; he also tours with former members of The Guess Who playing to theatres and festivals. He performs with more heart and skill than ever.
